Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing
small does not serve the world. There's nothing enlightened about shrinking so
that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as
children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us.
It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone and as we let our own light
shine, we unconsciously give others permission to do the same. As we are
liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others." -Marianne Williamson
The first time I heard this quote was actualy from the movie "Akeela and the Bee".
He's right, who are we not to be fabulous? We are to bring glory to God, when we do that, who is anyone to say your not brilliant, gorgeous, talented or fabulous because you are doing what God put you on the planet for. We need to learn how to shine, everyone has been gifted in different ways and when we find that place, where you know you belong, where you just want to through your whole beeing into it, that is where you where meant to shine! Every day we have opportunity's to help people and show love, that is letting your light shine.
